How a projectactually goes

This website design process keeps things simple from the first conversation to launch. You'll always know what's happening, what I need from you, and what comes next.

Watch it in motion

How it works

A straightforward process.

  1. 01

    Tell Me About Your Business

A quick conversation or form gives me what I need to understand your business and what you want your website to do.

  2. 02

    I Review the Opportunity

I look at your current website (if you have one), your Google presence, and how customers likely find you now.

  3. 03

    See the Direction

For businesses that are a good fit, I put together a concept showing what a better online experience could look like — before you commit to anything.

  4. 04

    We Build It

Once the direction is approved, I build the complete website and whatever functionality fits your business.

  5. 05

    Review & Launch

We test mobile, desktop, forms, and SEO basics, then get the site live on your domain. Once the project is complete, the finished website is yours.

  6. 06

    Keep Improving

Once you have real analytics and customer behavior to look at, we can use that to guide what comes next.

What you bring

Less than you'd think.

  • What your business does, and who it serves
  • Your current website and Google Business Profile, if you have them
  • The actions you want customers to take: call, quote, book, visit
  • Any logo, photos, price lists or service descriptions you already have
  • Not sure who currently controls your domain, hosting, or files? The Ownership & Buyer Kit walks through exactly what to check

What you get

A site that's ready to work.

  • A concept for your business before you commit to anything
  • A mobile-first site built around calls, quotes or bookings
  • Forms that validate, block spam and reach you by email
  • A local SEO foundation and analytics that are ready to switch on
  • A launch on your own domain, with the technical side handled
  • A completed Website Acceptance Test before you sign off at launch

Timing & scope

Scoped to your business.

Timelines depend on how much of the site exists already, how many pages and tools it needs, and how quickly content and feedback come back. A redesign of an existing site adds a review of what's already there, so nothing worth keeping gets lost. You'll get a realistic estimate after the review — not a generic promise up front.

The concept step is complimentary and comes with no obligation to purchase. If the direction isn't right, or the timing isn't, you say so and that's the end of it.
